he passed away today. He was an awesome comic and dramatic actor.

that he was wounded at Omaha Beach during the Normandy Invasion. A war hero, too. And he passed away on Veterans' Day.

15. Cozy memories of early childhood in the Fifties
watching the hysterically dysfunctional "Honeymooners"-- they seemed a helluva lot closer to my own family than "Donna Reed" or "Leave It to Beaver"!
