I don't know if this can be elevated to a Law on par with Murphy's, Godwin's, and Moore's.

But maybe it should be.

-Every workplace, extended family, chatroom, etc. has a Soap Opera Guy (or gal).

You know, has to make everything a huge drama, puts on a big (poorly acted) show, tries to get everybody's attention by making himself look like an ass.

I imagine I'll get another call tonight about her latest upheaval. Y'see, the backyard isn't completely landscaped yet and it looks just awful what with the new deck and no plants. To pansy or not to pansy.
