I'd like to say a few words about... MEATS
...and how I loves them so...

MMMM...I never "sausage" a thing!!!! If you think sausage is just for daily breakfast- you are tragically mistaken my friend- sausage can be enjoyed SEVERAL times a day!!!!

How can anyone not respect Bologna- and his noble cousin, the frankfurter- Nutrious nourishment, no matter how you slice it...

I am very suspicious of the fellow who does not enjoy a hearty Ketchup meatloaf!!!

Poterhouse Steak? No my love, I did not forget you! I wants mines RARE!!!!!

39. Otto von Bismark Said....
"People who love Law and Sausages should NEVER see either being made..."

I had to give 'em up, too much fat. And "low-fat" cold cuts (except birds and ham) and sausages suck the Big Green Wienie....

11. Actually that is only some hot dogs.
They have to be labeled "variety meats included" if they contain those things. Hot dogs that read "all beef" actually are. They are beef fat and mainly brisket trimmings. Just thought everyone would like to know.

26. I'm not saying a word about those sausages...
Nope.

Yummy meatloaf:

2 lbs lean ground beef
1 cup frozen spinach
1 package Lipton Beefy Onion soup
3/4 cup hot water

dissolve soup in water and add to other ingredients
mix well and form into loaf
place in pre-heated 450 degree oven 5 minutes
reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue cooking for about an hour or until done

27. sounds good, but check this out...
...a handy meat loaf tip for ya-

MIX YOUR MEATS!!!!!

Why have just ground beef, when you could mix in ground pork, veal, or even ground turkey!!

Mixing meats is the secret to the best meatloaf- no kidding.

After all- it's a MEAT-loaf, not a BEEF-Loaf!!!!!

Lipds, protiens, full bellies and satisfied taste-buds??? These things STILL matter to us red-blooded non communist Americans.

I think you owe meats an apology- it IS a very sensitive food...

35. Even people from other planets eat meat, for example:
Haunted House

Snip

In the kitchen my stove was a blazin hot
The coffee was a boilin in the pot
The grease had melted in my pan
I had a hunk of meet in my hand

From out of space there sat a man
On a hot stove was pots and pans
Say that's hot I began to shout
He drank a hot coffee from the spout

He ate the raw meat right from my hand
Drank the hot grease from the fryin pan
He said to me now you better run
And don't be here when the mornin comes

Edited on Wed Nov-12-03 07:51 AM by ritc2750
Dr. Fate announces that we will not seek re-election as President of the DU PETA Chapter. More details, and possibly nude photos, as they become available.

I'm off to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan tomorrow, and when I'm not hunting, I'm going to be chowing down on Tommy Becco's sausage, a local creation that is absolutely incredible (just the right amount of fennel).
