Any University of Pennsylvania alumni???
I'm attending Penn's precollege program right now, and having a blast. Everything about this school is great, except for living in the Quad...not enough showers and the AC is broke. :-(

1. You know it
Wander the Quad; as of 20 years ago, there was at least one section that was totally modernized. Presumably, they've renovated more since then.
Ask somebody what Birthday House was called before co-education. (That's a hint, by the way.)

Glad you're having fun.

2. they renovated the entire thing now...
I'm staying in Butcher...one of the 3 newest buildings that don't architecturally fit in with the rest of the complex. The entire place has air conditioning now, ethernet, and cable, but the AC's been broken since Monday.

4. Now, now, now
Lots of liberals at Penn, and the conservatives are more of the upper-class twit variety than freeper knuckle-draggers. Admittedly (before my time) Penn had its sit-in when the hockey team was discontinued, rather than during the Vietnam war, but still.

6. My friend Robert took a dual degree from Wharton
and is still the same socialist hippie he ever was. On the other hand, I didn't enjoy Penn and was always creeped out by Wharton, so hate them all you want.
