Poll question: What's your favorite spin-off? (the sitcom edition)
Edited on Wed Nov-12-03 09:21 AM by underpants
ON EDIT-Family Matters "Urkel" was a spin off of the classic Perfect Strangers "Balki"(it didn't fit in the poll I guess).

I am leaving off the Simpsons as that is a no brainer.

Here is a website of spinoffs both real and contrived

2. Lou Grant
It was great to see Ed Asner in a starring role, especially when his politics was a detriment to his career some circles. Also Nancy Marchland as the Newspaper publisher was great.

4. True but it wasn't a sitcom
I'm sorry but the judges will not allow that.

3. Good Times: Maude from All in the Family??????
Wasn't "Maude" based on Maude from All in the Family?

Good Times was spun off from Maude, I think, as "Florida" was the maid in Maude.

Right?

6. Maude was Edith's sister or she was married to Edith's brother
One of those

I never was much of a fan of the show Maude except for Adrianne Barboux YOWZA!!!!!!!!!!

8. The Jeffersons
I mean, it was spun off from the best sitcom ever. So thus, it has to be the best spin off ever.

:)
