What happened to Andrea Thompson's (NYPDBlue) journalist career?
I saw her last night on 24, and I was like, didn't she leave NYPD Blue to become an anchor on headline news? Now she's acting again? Well, good for her. Left the oldest profession in the world for the second oldest profession.

1. I think she was "let go" by Headline News...
ratings just weren't there.

2. She was hosting CourtTV's Saturday line-up for a while...
...maybe she found out the hard way that there isn't much room for women over 40 in broadcast journalism. She's a good actress though. I caught her on Headline News a couple of times, and she was good at that, too. Sucks having too much talent - not that I know anything about that. ;-)
