Help me write a joke about Georgie please:

Here's the joke:

The only thing George Bush ever worked 12 hours for was his next line of cocaine, and that's just because he was drunk and blacked out for 11 and a half of them.


I just got a second job and since Wednesday I've been working from 9am to 8:30 pm between the two. Somewhere in the middle of it I was thinking, "damn, these 12 hour days are hard work," so I wrote this joke about George to make me feel better. It's a rough draft. I like it, but something about it isn't quite right yet. Or maybe it's fine. What do you think?

I'm wondering if we can't speculate a bit, using the "hard work" theme, as to how he got the money for said coke binge. It couldn't have all come from home, you know. :)

I still like the idea of him being blacked out drunk for 11 (at least) out of the 12 hours of his "hard work" too.

Reminds me of a teacher I had once who made the class write a 1000 word essay. He looked at them, said "Great. Now make it 100." Then he made us turn the 100 word version into one grammatically correct sentence.
