I swear, it gives you insight into school bands, they work harder than the football teams :) Hope you enjoy it!

3. That's the same reason why I love cheer movies, except that I have |
|
yet to see one that really shows how hard cheerleaders work or that breaks the mean airhead stereotype.
Just caught up with Drumline.. saw the main character audition. Very cool!

4. The movie does move a little slow, but |
|
the drum battles are just AWESOME. There is a nice "message" about perseverance aka, the only failure is not trying :) Of course, I'm a big fan of 8 Mile too.

6. It was very cool.. not a lot plot-wsie but I was only interested in seeing |
|
the musical performances and dancing anyway. Even caught a glimpse of a cheerleader here and there. :D

I think Drumline was targeted to someone who had a clue about music and/or liked seeing performances.
My band geezer geek friends were really into Drumline because we lived it. We exchanged e-mails on it for weeks. But my non-musical spouse couldn't get into it at all.

choreography and how they worked it out with the music. Very cool.
We learned a couple of drumline chants at Cheer Camp this summer. We don't have a band but I am seriously thinking of looking online for a place to download different.. I dunno.. are they riffs??? Anyway wanna see if I can find some like that ones I heard at camp so the girls cando the chants to a boom box. Otherwise we would have to buy the whole cd and that's $26 bucks I don't want to spend for about 1 minute of drumming.
