I keep running into people lately

I live near downtown Calgary. Reasonably large city, by Canadian standards. In the past 2 days, I ran into my old boss, someone I used to work with, and my nephew. Now, I'm just walking and taking the bus on 17th Ave. S.W. (the Red Mile). What is up with this? I'm at bus stops when I met them. Maybe Calgary is not as big as it thinks it is? Or, could it be, it the city that oil made, more people are walking/taking transit?

the best "cheap" beer you can get in Calgary. Just an FYI and a shameless kick. At least I provide relevant information with my kicks. I don't just kick.
