in the beginning, from the fires of a supernova birthed the dragon king. The dragon king, bored, birthed the earth from his firery breath. He created the dinosaurs, and then battled them, as his skill grew, he evolved them. Than he destroyed them, bored once again, he creates 3 humanoid species, and watches them battle to the death.
End of chapter 1

All true believers know that the Dragon King was so bored that he was moved to tears, and then he fashioned the earth from a single molten tear.
Then upon the earth he breathed his fiery breath and all the host of plants and animals were born in the holy conflagration.

its all supposed to be nutshelled to two pages, and then 2 pages on the creation of the sword Ichiro finds that makes him invincible

You know how he gets about paraphrasing the holy text. Now he is going to be all wound up with his “the Dragon King demands penance” and we are going to be in for another round of burnings at the stake, and flayings alive. You know who has to clean up after that? Me and I'll tell you if you think you have any ideal about how nasty it is to clean up some one who has been skinned alive you don't, it is enough to absolutely put on right off his lunch.
