did a good job.... I dont think he directed too much... a pity. Talking about oldies but goodies.... I just saw THIS GUN FOR HIRE w/ Alan Ladd.. Wow. Yeah it was dated but you can really see how this movie influenced other films. How about KISS ME DEADLY...

hard to go wrong with a Graham Greene screenplay. I always thought it was interesting that Ladd made his leading man breakthrough by playing a killer.
