Tonight's episode was very good. I won't spoil it for you west coast people. Still, I often wonder: don't any of those kids have parents of their own? It seems like we never see them or they are only minimally involved in their kids lives. Instead, they always seem to be hanging around the Forman house. No wonder Red had a heart attack.

Also, I saw a rerun earlier tonight, the episode where Gerald Ford comes to Point Place. All indications seem to suggest that Red Forman would have voted for Carter in 1976, though I could also see where he would have been a Reagan Democrat in the 80's.

1. Red

I think Red was a Republican.

Saw an episode last year where he claimed Nixon was great and JFK was a commie.

He also commented on Jackie's father, who was a crooked GOP politician. He said something like, "This guy makes Republicans look like a bunch of liars".

2. He didn't like Ford

He asked him at the town hall meeting, "How the hell could you pardon Nixon?"

Sounds like the script writers may have a little continuity problem.

5. Kitty and Red are the only parents that aren't funked up on that show...

Bob's an idiot, Hyde's mom and dad are irresponsible selfish people, Fez has mean host parents, and Jackie's dad is in prison and her mom deserted her. They've never mentioned KElso's parents, so maybe they're decent?
