How many states have you set foot in?
I'm at 26, almost every eastern state and a hopscotch towards California.

Took road trips to various regions over the years and got to all of them.

Hawaii of course was not by road nor was Alaska...(did a cruise there a few years back)

38. Me, Too!
My family used to travel by trailer all over the U.S. every summer. Before i was 14 i was in every contiguous state. I went to Alaska on a biz trip to Seattle (took a vacation day and flew into Anchorage) just to go to Alaska.

Then, i went to Hawaii for a conference with the Far East division of a major customer. Bad weather when i was there, (lots and lots of rain and heavy winds), but at least i was there.

Of course, just driving through Oklahoma or Alabama is hardly like visiting a state.

26. LOL! You are right
of course.

You mean the earth just doesn't fall off on the west bank of the Mississippi?

:scared: :silly:

The problem here is economics. It's often cheaper from the East Coast to visit Europe as it is to go out west. Actually, TX is doable for me. My cousins live in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. I would love to visit them.

I'm dying to visit Austin! :D

Ironically, one of my dogs is from a breeder in north dakota... so that would make me 50 if you grafted my dog on to my leg. :-)

62. 24. No new ones since 1990 which was Ark.
The only new ones I would really like to visit, would be CA, to see Yosemite and SF, and Il to see Chicago.

Otherwise, London is at the top of my wish list now, followed by Barbados and Trinidad.

80. 49, still missing Hawaii
My parents are retired teachers. We traveled extensively every summer when I was in school, and my current job allows the summer off as well. And away I go, each possible day.

Alaska was a wonderful addition as #49 a few summers ago. I think I would return there instead of finally nailing Hawaii to complete the list. Hawaii reportedly has the most expensive golf in the country, even above #2 Nevada, where I live now. During summer I'm looking for $20 courses to revive my game on a daily basis, not more stuffy and overrated $100 tracks that require a cart and etiquette.
