The local grocery store does not sell whole wheat and never has... |
|
We moved over here recently and I thought I was moving CLOSER to civilization - NOT further.
OK - so it just means that I have to drive 5 more miles. But still.
I felt like I was back in the 50's or something.
Doesn't EVERYONE buy whole wheat flour?

1. Why not ask them to stock it? |
|
I'm sure you're no the only one who would buy it.

The manager acted like - "well I'll tell them - but don't expect anything to change".
So - we'll see.

3. I found great WW flour ... |

..at the Mennonite store. The local groceries lost a lot of business when I discovered that place. They have great flours, flax seed, nuts, pumpkin seeds, real farm eggs--lots of stuff you associate with natural-food stores rather than with Pennsylvania home cooking. If you have a local grocery run by the Mennonite or the Amish, check them out.
