Unbelievable.
m83 - Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts. I SO wish I'd given this a proper listen a while ago when I first got it. It's absolutely gorgeous. Remember how you felt when you discovered "Loveless"? Yes. It's that good.
(You'll please excuse me if this has been brought up before, I haven't seen it mentioned.)
Go. Seek. Find this album.

1. I hope you're not talking about... |
|
...that moronic slasher movie from the early 1980s?
I saw that thing on HBO back around '82. What a piece of shit! :puke:

No, My Bloody Valentine is a band.
I don't *do* cheesy horror movies. ;)

I'm a HUGE fan of MBV.
I just looked M83 up on Amazon, it sounds like a great group. I may have to get that album....

I prefer "oozing", but that's neither here nor there...;)
It's been my experience that if you're of a certain age, you've more than likely owned multiple copies of any combination of the following (due to them being lost/stolen/*borrowed by a friend* (see stolen)/eaten by a tape deck/or just plain wearing out):
Loveless Nothing's Shocking Let it Be (Replacements, there) Licensed to Ill/Paul's Boutique Yo! Bum Rush the Show Gish/Siamese Dream Meat is Murder Nevermind the Bullocks and others...
etc., etc, ad infinitum.
I know I personally have had no less than 1 (one) million copies of each. :D

That and Psychocandy by the JAMC, Screamadelica by Primal Scream, one of about four possible Cocteau Twins albums, Superfuzz Bigmuff by Mudhoney and either Bummed or Pills, Thrills etc by the Happy Mondays, oh and Hit to Death in the Future Head by the Flaming Lips.

Loveless is in my top-10 favorite records of all time. If there's ANYTHING like it out there, I'm gonna have to look it up and give a listen. Thanks for the recommendation!

I also noticed that Kevin Shields has an album out (!)
I thought he was in the nuthouse or something, but apparently it's getting decent reviews.
