Poll question: Is It More Fun To Post Your Opinion If You Believe....
More people will agree with it, or disagree with it?

1. Disagree
It's fun as hell to get into a giant arguement with people. :P

Besides, I post my opinion because it's my opinion, not because I am looking to curry favor with anyone. If people agree, that's awesome too though.

2. Neither actually
I like to post my opinion if I can give a different perspective on the issue.

3. both and neither
When someone sees where i'm coming from, but has a different take... its not disagreement as much as argument in the truest sense of that meaning... questioning first principals and between us writers coming to a greater discussion for the reader than any single writer could provide.

When i read a thread like that, it tickles me pink.

4. DU is an OPPORTUNITY for a Community of Political Learning.
I post ideas looking for mutuality and shared ideas -- and to learn more and gain information (intelligence, if you will) so I prefer somebody to agree and BUILD on the idea.

But we can also learn from those we disagree with unless they are just being flaming assh*les who are trying to discredit you with no rational arguments.

Usually when I identify these sorts I assume that they are not idealogically driven but are just here for disinformational purposes and chaos building (a methodology perfected by the Nazis in their rise to power). Disrupt, discredit, dissuade, distract, delude.

Fascists have no idealogy at all: they are driven by greed and lust for power and have NO values except exaltation and gratification of self.

BUT -- thos who raise rational counter-arguments and whop are not disruptive types can be enjoyable to.

I just like working as a team as opposed to courting constant conflict.
