3. As a Cardinals fan, I'm a little worried.
The Padres have some decent pitching, and anything can happen in a short series.

6. Exactly, ya never know. (Juaquin Andujar's 2 words that sum
up baseball- his '2' words not mine)

Maveric, I remember at the beginning of the year, you or some other Padres fan went out on a limb and predicted winning your division. Most every response to that thread was 'You're crazy.'

Well, congradulations for keeping the faith and being rewarded! Good luck to all DUers playoff baseball teams.

9. Now, listen, that's not what the Cards-Cubs rivalry is about.
It's about good baseball and great times, not like the Yanks-Sox thing. If the Cubbies were there, I wouldn't wish them ill will if the Cards weren't. :P

I mean, damn, if Wood and Prior could just stay healthy. I swear, that damn billy goat must be pissed.

12. You must've missed the post where I wished all DUers teams
good luck. That gesture got me a 'Who asked you?' response from a Cards fan.

10. You're right.
But, unless Eaton and Peavy can shut the Cardinals out then there is no chance. The Fightin' Fathers just don't have the guns. The Astros and Braves on the other hand. . . But, you're right you never know. As long as Carpenter and Mulder come out sharp and if we get a good outing from Suppan, then I don't think the Padres can do it. But, Peavy and Eaton are awesome pitchers. Period.
