Anyone remember when the removed my GWB ANG Inaction Figure auction?

They never gave me a satisfactory answer as to why they pulled it.

However, I received a pretty straightforward reason for their refusal to allow the auction of "My Soul" to continue:

The item you have listed does not appear to be consistent with eBay guidelines.

eBay does not allow the auctioning of human souls for the following reasons:

If the soul does not exist, eBay could not allow the auctioning of the soul because there would be nothing to sell. However if the soul does exist, then in accordance with eBay's policy on human parts and remains we would not allow the auctioning of human souls. Therefore, we have ended this auction and all fees have been credited to your account.

I can't really argue against their logic, but I feel that there's some philosophical leeway there.

However, eBay is wrong. The soul exists - hell, you were selling it - it HAD/HAS to exist. However, it is not a body part by any stretch of the imagination - it is merely housed in a body. Therefore, it would not be against Ebay rules to sell it- a) it exists because you can identify it to sell, b) it is not a body part, merely present in.
