I very RARELY get a full weekend off, and with the holidays coming, I won't get another until after New Years day. x(

I always get 2 days off a week, but they are never in a row. Like this week I have Sunday and Friday off.

However, I've worked in retail for so long, and had my days off scheduled like that for so long, that I'm used to it and I can "turn off" fairly easily. Having said that...I still WISH I had them off in a row.

Yeah, I'm doing okay. It's 5:12 am CST and I haven't slept a wink yet. I have to get up at ten...so this could be a problem. But I'm not worried.

Keep this in mind...if you can't get at least 2 hours of sleep, it's best to just stay awake. So if you can get to sleep by 7:30 or 8, you should be OK.

:hi: Coffee's just taking effect. The weekend was nice. We did Haydn's "The Heaven's are telling the Glory of God" at church. I sang Uriel. I don't often get to do solo work and it went well. It's a fun piece to do.

I'm not a fan of Haydn's instrumental work generally - but Die Schoepfung, his Masses &c. are splendidly wonderful.

We're still in the depiction of chaos - and given that I listen to oodles of atonal music it doesn't sound too chaotic to me, but back in Haydn's time it would have been pretty damn astounding.
