:D

Washington actually plays a team with a winning record who has been playing some tough football all season long. Who is gonna win?

6. no. neither can I
year after year Redskin fans are known as the greatest NFL fans out there. win or lose, a Redskin fan is rabid, for life.

Philly players often have to dodge projectiles just to get on the field.

its sad really. being a second class city and all

10. Looks like the Eagles lost their only game to a winning team.
Edited on Mon Oct-03-05 01:42 PM by nytemare
The Eagles beat San Fran 1-3
Oakland 1-3
Kansas City 2-2
The Eagles eeked out victories over KC and Oakland.

The Redskins have beaten Chicago 1-2
Dallas 2-2
Seattle 2-2
The Skins eeked out all of their victories, but these were ones we would have lost last year.
Seattle and Dallas had top offenses.

Bottom line, we never know week to week who will pull one off. The Chargers absolutely stomped the Patriots. The Bengals, Bucs and Redskins are undefeated. No NFL experts would have predicted that.
The Redskins beat the Cowboys who beat the Chargers who beat New England. Does that mean the Skins are better than NE? I don't think so. It means the Redskins beat the Cowboys that Monday night. Which, I was actually pleasantly suprised about.

13. You are correct.
And I think only the Chiefs had a winning record going against the Eagles.

Well, the Skins have surely provided some nailbiting victories. I am pretty happy with them. They need to work on moving the ball better on first and second downs to make 3rd down more manageable. They were great converting 3rd down, but that isn't always going to happen. Also, if they are burning up that much clock during drives, they need to score.

14. Overall, I think KC is better than Dallas
Seattle could be a wash, but they were playing in D.C. Seattle had a chance to win at the end, but blew it. I think the Skins will be improved, but they are no Super Bowl team yet IMO. Gibbs is a great coach even at this stage, and I'm optimistic even though I'm pretty sure Denver will be a loss.

15. Denver has won against three decent teams.
I am sure Denver will be favored. It all depends on how our team matches up against theirs. The defense has been great, but needs to get more turnovers. I think they need to put Arrington in more. I am not sure what is going on with him, but he is a difference maker, and he has been pretty much on the sideline. Also, we need to be able to knock the QB around a little more. We did against Chicago, but haven't been consistent on the rush the last two games, really.

16. I was a Skins fan until I was about 15
My dad started me into football as a toddler. The only football championships I know were as a Redskins fan, so I have a soft spot. Good luck (until they threaten my Eagles - lol.) :hi:

18. The east is looking pretty strong, now.
It is the only division with 3 winning teams. No team is below .500. This is looking like the 80's and early 90's, where the Superbowl winning teams were pretty much from the East. That is when the 49ers were good.

I still believe the Eagles can win the Super Bowl, and those divisional rivalries might mean something again.

12. Denver
And this coming from someone who likes the Skins. Winning in Kansas City was a bigger test, so the Eagles are ahead there.
