So, I'm looking at grad schools, and Columbia has a really cool program called Earth and Environmental Science Journalism. I'm looking through their course information and come across:

Five or six case studies are covered each semester. An incomplete collection of cases covered since 1996 follows:

Cancer Clusters and the Toms River / Ciba Geigy Site.
Interview: Daniel Warenberg, Rutgers
Coastal Zone Management.
Erosion and Development on Long Island's South Shore.
Field Trip to Fire Island.

It's still funny though :-) I am not sure what they have planned, I first need to apply and be accepted, and I think much of the course work for that class is student driven, so we'll see.
