1. My kids all moved out in '98 |

I fed myself on oatmeal and bagels for the ensuing several years until I met my present SO who loves to cook. However, when he took a new job a couple of years ago, I had to take over because he got home later. I'd forgotten how to do EVERYTHING. It was wierd - after cooking for a family for like 20 years, I couldn't make the simplest thing without screwing it up. And I had no confidence.
Now I'm back to being able to cook. But I still don't like it.

3. I fell out of practice too. |

I've been attempting a meal here and there over the past month, but, honestly? I can't stand to eat my own cooking...even though my friends tell me it tastes pretty good!

4. Thai chicken sauce can resurrect anything. |

$2 for a giant bottle. It's good on takeout fried chicken, even McNuggets. It can even make scrambled egg whites palatable!

If you want JUICY Chicken follow these easy steps... Put a couple boneless Skinless chicken breasts in your favorite baking pan. Season to your liking. Fill the bottom of the pan with water. Put the pan in a 425 degree preheated oven for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, take the chicken out, flip, season the other side, add more water if necessary and then put back in for another 20 minutes. After that time, cut the middle of the thickest piece to make sure it's done. If not, cook for another five to ten minutes as necessary, adding water if needed. You will get the best chicken you have ever eaten. :) Sorry your chicken was boring. Duckie
