Somewhere, my mom had a picture of me from 1974. I'm 3 years old. I'm wearing a bluejean jacket and my back is to the camera. Emblazoned on the back of the jacket is a huge marijuana leaf. Can you imagine something like that today?? :hippie:

Those circles represent 5, 10 and 20 mile radius from TMI which was the evacuation group. I lived in Marysville (Upper left corner in the 20mil radius) so we were packed to evacuate





Oddly enough the waters around TMI made for great water-skiing. We would go to Goldsboro (home of Phillies Greg Gross and on the other side of the river from Middletown/TMI) and spend our weekends picnicing and waterskiing in front of TMI. I was about 8 when we started going there and thought TMI was where the clouds were made. That big island to the right of TMI had picnic tables with 'MET-ED' spraypainted all over them - thought someone just met a guy named Ed there
