12. LOL why did I know that khephra would be the first to comment |

before I even opened the thread?
Undertow is great, as is Lateralus, but IMNSHO Aenima is their masterpiece. Lateralus, to me, sounds like Aenima II, but I can't blame them. To make the same kind of jump they made from Undertow to Aenima, with Lateralus, Lateralus wouldn't even have been music. (I hope that last sentence makes sense; I'll elaborate if necessary.)

6. Hey HeyHey what nihilistic heavy metal bands do you like. |
|
Nine Inch Nails and Korn are also on my list. Rammstien too. But I also like Glenn Campblell and Don Maclean. Black Sabbath is my favorite or any genres. Johnny Cash rules,Gordon Lightfoot, Sarah,Biff Naked. I like what I like.

The version of "Sober" on the demo was 10 times better than the version on Undertow.
I personally think they peaked on Opiate.

10. The live version of Pushit... |
|
off of Salival was great.
I saw them live in Portland in 2001, amazing show.
You realy have to see them live to appreciate how powerful the music is.
I agree, Aenima is their best work and I think Jimmy is one of their finest songs.

11. Absolutely I agree... |
|
but Aenama is better. The drum work on that album is incredible - pure genius.
And the first half of Aenima is the second best album ever to have sex to IMHO (right behind NIN's "Downward Spiral").
I'm listening to it right now. Whooboy!
