So I saw the quality of HDTV today
Wow, it's of very high quality.

Glass 34" CRT.

Somehow the 60" widescreen LCD I saw looked even better.

No wonder the MPAA wants that broadcast flag and eradicate consumer freedom. Mustn't have people record HDTV programming for free when this quality will deprive them of a sale, even though people hate the stupid logos burning out the phosphors on the lower-right corner of the TV...

There is nothing wrong with standard TV. People should have the option of higher quality, but the FCC is forcing that on everybody by 2006 as well.

Again, boycott them all.

1. I first saw HDTV in 1990
When I shipped off to Japan in 1990, I flew commercial and arrived at Japan's Narita airport. They had several monitors on the walls broadcasting HD images. It was pretty amazing, and really surprising how long it took before that technology was available in the U.S.

5. Satelite............
is the only way to go for HD. Every channel, clear, sharp and digital sound. I have a 51" Sony, 1 year old, and it still continues to amaze me. The next step up is plasma, maybe in a year or two. Those annoying little logos on the screen can be removed by the way.
