LOL!
guess what guys/gals, thanks for all your PM's. :eyes:
think i'll put in my Red Sox DVD tonight and re-live last year's ALCS and World Series (it has some GREAT music). Cindarella story to end all stories and am looking forward to a possible repeat this year with a team that wasn't supposed to win and hasn't since 1917. THAT is what sports are SUPPOSED to be about.
You all know who you are. Eat it.
folks, get used to it. truth is i'm still pinching myself thanks to the GREATEST COMEBACK IN SPORTS HISTORY and am willing to admit we got outplayed this year. we will rebuild.
that is on the table.
i just LOVE the shitty 'sportsmanship' (especially from you Yankee fans). :D
really. its pretty fun AND pathetic at the same time. (but expected)
once again, CONGRATS White Sox fans!

what they're doing to their own karma. I try not to gloat when my teams win...'cause that's just asking for them to get the shit kicked out of them next time.

There are Yankee fans who are assholes, and Red Sox fans who are assholes. There's assholes on every side of every rivalry in sports...I ignore 'em, myself.
Still, I find it pretty hard to garner much sympathy for the Red Sox people, after the disgusting way many of them continue to treat A-Rod. It's like some of you can dish it out but you can't take it.

That's fuckin' insane.
And the Red Sox fan board is mobbed with trolls. You'd think they'd have some respect for the greatest comeback team ever. I guess not.
Asshats.

They are my second favorite baseball team. If my White Sox did not get through this series, I wanted Boston to beat every one. They had a great season, and are a great team. You should be proud of them.

23. EXCUSE me? Cinderella stories? |
|
The Red Sox had an absolutelty huge payroll when they won the World Series. You fire enough mortar rounds at a target and eventually it'll break. When the Kansas City Royals win the World Series, THAT will be a Cinderella story. When Boston wins the World Series, it's from a team that, although I have nothing personally against them, is pretty much the little Evil Empire in terms of payroll and how they operate their franchise (signing free agents, etc).
