Yes! For the first time we here a Missouri Southern State University are recognizing National Coming Out Day. SAGA (Strait And Gay Alliance) Push hard for this. I am setting back and waiting for the fireworks to start. Should not be a boring day.

5. I was really surprised that it happened without incident
There are a few in the area, if they got wind of it, would have come to just start trouble.

3. Your right it was yesterday
But SAGA Could only get the Student Senate to pass it in time for the day after. It was a hard fight. It was approved by a narrow margin of 13 to 12.
Here it the college newspaper story on it.

6. did!
It was cool. Allot of workshops about history of the pink triangle, a church know as the MCC was there to promote equality for all and was even selling CD's by openly gay gospel singers, and a group that was letting everyone know about legislation they are backing to stop discrimination that is allowed here in Missouri as well as new anti-bullying legislation to put down real rules against bullying in school, for any reason ( sex, race, sexual orientation, or just for not being cool, ect.).
There is a raffle going on starting today till Friday to help raise funds for SAGA to do more stuff like this. I hope I win the free tattooing!
