Boy in the closet, while Mommy cheats

Ten-year-old Jimmy's mommy had a boyfriend, whom she would often have over in the afternoon while Jimmy's daddy was at work. Sometimes, Jimmy would get home from school before mommy's beau had left; when that happened, jimmy would get tossed in the closet for a while. One day, while Jimmy was in the closet, his dad came home early, and Jimmy found himself with some company in the closet.

Jimmy: It's pretty dark in here.

Man: It sure is.

Jimmy. I have a baseball.

Man: That's nice.

Jimmy: Do you want to buy it?

Man: No.

Jimmy: May I remind you that my dad is out there?

Man: OK, how much?

Jimmy: $50.

Man: <sigh> OK.

A couple of weeks later, the same thing happened; Jimmy and Mommy's paramour were back in the closet.

Jimmy: It's pretty dark in here.

Man: It sure is.

Jimmy. I have a baseball mitt.

Man: <sigh> How much?

Jimmy: $125.

Another couple of weeks pass, and one night after dinner, Daddy is in a playful mood.

Dad: Hey, Jimmy, grab your ball and mitt and let's toss it around for a while!

Jimmy: I can't.

Dad: Whaddaya mean, you can't?

Jimmy: I sold them.

Dad: For how much?

Jimmy: $175.

Dad: How dare you cheat your friends like that! Those weren't worth anywhere near $175! We're goung to the church right now and you're doing confession!

Dad throws Jimmy into the car, and drives to the parish church. He drags the kid inside, pushes him into the confessional, and slams the door behind him.

Jimmy: It's pretty dark in here.

Priest: Don't start that shit again!
