Any fans of 'Zelda: The Wind Waker' here? |

Oh, the game that had taken-over my life at one point.. if a man can't love an inanimate object, this is still pretty close. The look on Link's face when his sister is kidnapped.. the escape from Forsaken Fortress.. the awakening of the sages.. it was a game too good to be true - a game that had me telling myself, "THIS is the fun that life is for!"
And the music! Oh the music - I'm still humming it on a daily basis!
Anyway.. It's been nominated for SpikeTV's VideoGame of the Year Award, and voting is going on right now at the network's website: www.spiketv.com (it's also nominated for best adventure game)
I'm a bit skeptical about its chances of winning, given how the internet vote will be combined with a 'panel of experts' to determine the winners in each category. (From the advertising on that network, it seems pretty PS2 dominated, so I wonder if the experts are bought.) Still, it's worth a shot.
I LOVE WIND WAKER! LONG LIVE LINK!!!

I rented it...awesome stuff. Myamoto (sp?) is the famous Japanese dude who made it, along with the other top-rate Nintendo 1st party titles. He is a genius. I've been in love with his stuff since Super Mario World on the Super Nintendo system...He really knows how to pull players into his universe, even in 2-D games...SMW was/is one of the best games ever in my opinion.
