trespasses depending on where I am. I have heard it said as forgive our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.

I consider that a more appropriate word referring to any wrongs that I may have committed. I think "debts" and even "sins" are too narrow of words. That said, in any way that I have thought about God, God is not particuliar about wordings and knows what you mean if you mean it.

I understand that "trespasses" is a more of Catholic thing and "debts" is more of a Protestant thing.
