Does anyone here have a Live Journal? |
|
I just got one of my own. I'm trying to cast a wide net for new friends to converse and post messages with, so I was wondering if anyone else here is a member of the LJ Community.
Please PM or email me if you are.

You should put democratic underground on your interest list. There's about 5 people with that interest so far. http://www.livejournal.com/users/melskylive journal is realy fun and addictive!

4. I have a News Scan Blog. |
|
Edited on Sun Nov-16-03 02:05 PM by brainshrub
Maybe I should call it a N-blog? I don't post personal information; Instead, I post news headlines with a summery & occational commentary. (Updated every morning Monday through Friday EST)
The long-term goal for my N-blog is to be a searchable database of news that gets ignored by the mass media.
I have found most news sites are cluttered with headlines & pop-up ads. These sites flood visitors with to much information in an attempt to appeal to a mass audience. My website is easy to read, uncluttered & ad free. It's designed for politicaly aware Progressives who want a daily dose of what is really going on the world around them. As an added service, I publish Brainshrub's Morning News Scan: A daily news-letter that mirrors what is about to be posted on the main site. My email list, now at about 235, contains about a dozen radio producers & editors who have come to depend on my posts as an alternative to the talking-points crunched out by Karl Rove. I'm amazed the DNC isn't doing what I'm doing. (The DNC has something similar, but it's not daily like Rove's talking points & my N-blog.)
This week I will start posting editorials & essays that have been vetted by DU visitors.
I would be happy to post your site on my favorites page. Do you have a banner?

ON EDIT: Be sure to check-out the "Adult Material" link. You'll love it & probably want to refer others who love FREE PORN!!! (Note to the DU mods...it's not what you think.)

5. I had a live journal, but... |
|
... I forgot to water it and it died. I'm sticking with plastic journals from now on.
