Protests? What protests?

Loosening environmental laws...bring em on...

Rightwingnut judges...better for conservative's future

Sending jobs overseas and giving us higher stock dividends...YEAH

Borrowing and spending to invade a weak but oil-rich Arab country...
the highest calling

Firing workers to improve business profits....the American way

Banning family planning funds to overseas health clinics..let 'em die
in childbirth

Cutting Veteran benefits...hey, we paid them while they were on the job

Making up intelligence to suit the purpose...it's the ends that justify the means

Conservative pundits...the liberal media was lying about our agenda

(it would be so much easier to just be a Republican)

1. Ignorance is Bliss
I really think that's why there are so many people who vote against their own pocketbooks by voting Republican. They can't be bothered by facts - many don't watch the news in any case - and would rather just think everything is great. They remain ignorant because it makes them happier.

2. That's a good list. I'm trying to think of what I would add to it.
Supporting a stupid usurper in the White House...hey, at least he only has sex with his wife and he's a guy I'd hang out with.

3. some more...
Forest fires-- fault of liberals (even if it was actually brush that was burning)
National debt-- fault of liberals BEFORE the great Regan took office
War in Iraq-- fault of liberals for letting the US grow weak and vulnerable
Troop deaths in Iraq-- fault of liberal protesters for lowering their morale
Lack of jobs in economy-- fault of liberals for taxing businesses
Lack of freedoms-- fault of gun-grabbing commie liberals who want to turn the US into the USSR
Crime-- fault of liberals who don't believe in god and keep proper family order
Energy crisis-- fault of liberals for blocking construction of power infrastructure
My monkey ran away-- fault of liberals for stealing his banana

Did I miss any?

4. definitely....... listen to a repub remark last night
I got into a debate last night with my friends father. He was trying to tell me not to worry about our national debt or the price for Iraq because taxpayers wont have to pay for these costs on the basis that they will just PRINT MORE MONEY (!!!). I tried to teach him economics 101, but he would not listen (despite his wife telling him he was flat out wrong). Being repub would be easy because facts and logic wouldnt matter to you.

5. Wont be that easy once they dont have a job
Edited on Sun Nov-16-03 03:47 PM by Kamika
Ok this might be some false stereotyping but I'm willing to bet most republicans don't have the best education.

They don't exactly buy/sell stocks but it's their jobs the repubCo are sending overseas

7. No. Only a SUCCESSFUL republican would make it easier.
ANd that's only if the status quo maintains.

Surely the sheeple, who'd otherwise go and flow and work within the system without questioning it, would ultimately have a breaking point too?
