There are those that are adventuresome in eating, the rest meat and
potatoes. Do you try other culture's food or go to Arby's? Me, I'll try most anything legal, no endangered species or domestic pets though.

Thai food, Indian food, Mexican food, soul food-yum.

3. Not meat
but almost anything not meat based, I'll try. I don't like extremely hot peppers but like almost all other seasoning. I don't like cilantro though and I wish I did as it's often in Mexican and some asian/Indian food. There's little ethnic food available here so I really enjoy visiting cities where there's so much to choose from. Favorites: Greek, Middle Eastern, Latin and Central American, Indian, Mexican.

4. I've always eaten different things
I had about every exotic vegtable growing up and ate a wide variety of ethnic food of different ethnicities. Someone how fried bananas came up during product tast testing at work although our product would not contain bananas or probably be used with them (although that could be intersting. My boss had them in Central America. I had them at a couple of Asian restaurants. All the others, native Wisconites looked at us like we were crazy.
Although, I have some favorite foods. I get tired of eating the same things all the time. Lots of flavor is good too. I'm into spices, herbs, and sauces.

5. I'll eat darn near anything...
...at least once. Some things I don't eat again. Octopus sashimi, for instance, has the texture and taste of old rubber bands.

My husband, on the other hand, is strictly meat and potatoes. Dinner was to his taste tonight: meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, apple pie. He was very suspicious of the French-fried onions I sprinked on the green beans. Too exotic.

6. Bald Eagle tastes a lot like Spotted Owl
Just kidding. I, myself, love almost anything; I've just discovered Vietnamese food and rather enjoy it. Seems that there's a Viet joint on nearly every street corner in this town.

Mrs. Ironflange, when I first knew her, was an extremely fussy eater, nothing but meat, potatoes, vegetable every night. It's taken many years, but I've trained her to eat Chinese (my favorite to cook), Italian, Ukrainian, etc. Some things she's said she'll never eat (eg. sushi), but to have my former meat & spuds girl enjoy such things as calamari, borscht, and hot & sour soup does my heart good.

8. I'm pretty bland when it comes to food
To me, the mild sauce at Taco Bell is hot.

But I have a weird tongue. Not great for food tasting. I can't say what it is good for because of the new rules. ;)

love to try new foods all the time. Just so long as it's not pets. And hot stuff. I'm a definite pepperhead.

12. I love Indian food;
Mexican food is good too. Thai/Chinese/Japanese I've tried, and don't much care for.
