Can you get busted for Attending Class if you owe money? |
|
I was told that I had to either pay or I couldn't come to school.
Can you get busted If you attend classes anyways?
I mean does anyone know the law? Would that be trespassing?

1. Our burser always works things out with students... |
|
HE's not a hard ass, and he cares about the students first and the money second. He's a great guy. Maybe you should go talk to someone. Duckie

2. I remember my freshman year |
|
The prof actually read the names of three students who hadn't paid and told them to leave and not return until they had. Very harsh and embarrassing.

3. They did that to me on Friday |
|
Then our Professor started bitching about the College being bought out by a Corporation and they run it like a business.
I am going to miss my Chefs and I am 25 credits away from getting my Degree.

Why did you buy Christmas T-shirts for your instructors two nights ago if you were put on academic probation?
It probably would be a good idea to get some counseling help, Corarose. Things aren't making much sense. Everyone has trouble occasionally. You've got to get a handle on things soon.

12. Because I am a TA for them & they are not at fault |
|
They work at the College they don't own it. They are very nice people and I was a TA for the both of them.
The shirts were .97 cents and it a way of saying thank you and that's it. I don't hold it against anyone it's my fault not theirs.
The cut their lunches out for the Teachers recently and some of their benefits.
Giving them a T-Shirt that cost 97 cents is too much.

I have some funds to be taken care of before next semester.. BTW, what that professor did was really crass. I'd flip him off on the way out.

8. At least I wasn't the only one that had to leave |
|
Every class that I have been in people are being taken out of the class left and right.
The teachers don't want to do it but security is outside the door.

5. The only thing I've heard of people having problems with is that... |
|
if you don't pay you won't graduate. Maybe at a certain point if you owe too much they won't let you register for the next semester, but that would probably only happen after multiple semesters of non-payment.

If you are on the list you have to leave. What if you refuse to leave?

And you could be arrested and prosecuted. Possibly also for theft (of service), although that one's a little tougher.
Pay the tuition. Get another job, loan, find a generous benefactor (often a relative), apply for every scholarship in the book, drink less beer, and/or take a (short!) break from school to accumulate more savings. Transfer to a less expensive school, such as a state school. Join the Coast Guard to get educated through them (one example). Whatever it takes to complete your education. (Don't forget to work your butt off for the Democratic nominee to help make it easier for students to get an education.)
Heck, no school I know of will grant you a diploma if you have an outstanding tuition bill.
Pay the bill.
