DU Group proposal: LBC's (Little British Cars) or Classic Foreign Cars
LBC's are Little British Cars, commonly MGs and Triumphs, but also including anything old and British, from Austin Healy to Jags to Spridgets to original Mini Coopers and whatever else (basically, if it has a Lucas part in it, it's an LBC).

I'm looking to make a DU group for LBCs and need 10 members with donor stars who are into this too. If you qualify and would like to see such a forum (or we could also expand into classic American cars and Classic foreign cars), please post here.

I'll come up with some kind of mission statement, which will mainly be about discussion/repairs/purchasing/opinions/etc of the cars... but I'm sure we have members here, like me, who are into this stuff...

Anyone?

p.s.: If you prefer classic American cars post here too (just state your preference) - maybe we can start up both.

1. new minis don't count?
Yeah I know their designed/owned by BMW but they are built in England. I just couldn't face another car with Lucas electrics, had a Healy and a Spitfire back in college.

3. New minis could count
Just don't know how much of a fan base there is for them, or what there is to talk about - they've got all the benefits of modern car-etry. It's the old ones that are a challenge (not that I don't like the new ones).

2. Well, since the auto group that already exists
doesn't get much traffic, this idea might not float. Is there something lacking in the current group?
