I just talked to a policeman friend of mine...another officer, who happens to be of Middle Eastern descent, had to arrest a woman for beating up her mother yesterday, because her mother wouldn't give her any of mom's Red Cross and FEMA money.

So the daughter bonded out of jail today, and then she came to the police department to ask an officer to escort her to get her belongings at her mother's house. Well, my friend who's an officer was going to go with her, as was the officer who arrested her yesterday. She threw a fit, and said, "He's NOT GOING!!!" My officer friend told her, "Yes, he is, or nobody's going." She said, "I don't want him to go." My officer friend told her, "Then you're on your own." She got into her car and drove away. Racist bitch.

Anyway, also, the scanner's been buzzing with robberies, house fires, domestics...you name it.

Everything just seems........ tense .........today. Anyone else feel it?

13. A long time ago I had 2 high school friends who were married to

a cop and a paramedic. One night we were all talking, and the cop and the paramedic both said they didn't care what the statistics said, when it's a full moon you brace for action. BTW, I hope the officers are still keeping an eye on Mom, the daughter will be back.
