How long should one try to stay at work
Edited on Tue Oct-18-05 09:00 AM by MissMillie
when it's already (at 10:00 am) painfully obvious that they are not going to make it to the end of the day?

My head is so congested that my face and my ears are killing me, and I'm starting to feel cold.

1. Leave NOW. Why prolong the agony?
I have the flu as well right now. It's AWFUL. Good luck. Buy lots of tissue and drink LOTS of water.

You won't come out until Friday.

3. Dispatch any urgent business forthwith and
leave all time-sensitive work with someone capable.

Then get yer ass home in-bed. :pals: Now.

4. I went into work like that the monday after the protest....
...they made me go home.

At this point you're probably infecting others - go home!

7. Go home!
There's someone in my office sneezing constantly, and it is actually making me angry. I don't want to catch a cold, and neither do your co-workers...go home!

10. What's the point of staying if you feel like shit? Go home, girl!!
More time on the job is not worth sacrificing your health and well-being, imo.

Take care of yourself,
Shine
