How do I start a Political blog?

Is there somewhere I can buy/rent space to creat a running blog page?

I don't want one where it's a page cluttered with a bunch of different bloggers. I'm looking for somewhere I can make my own page that friends & family can bookmark and check every day.

I'm really only internet savvy about reading and searching and I don't know JACK about web-page hosting, creation, etc.

Am I dreaming here? Is this only for people who own websites and/or servers?

It's a community, but your own page is 100% customizable and you get your own address (whatever.blogspot.com) that your friends and family can bookmark.

2. I saw that and thought, "It can't be this easy." and then wondered...

if maybe there's a place that's highly recommended.

I may try that if there's not something else that political junkies recommend.
