I am thinking this is something that would not stay on the dog all the time because of dog anatomy/physiology. Most unplanned canine pregnancies are the result of events which were not anticipated. If the owner had enough forsight to put a condoms on a dog, he/she could just as easily shut their dog in a room if a female dog in heat is around or supervise him while he is outside. Even if events might be anticpated, like if one did have unaltered males and females and didn't want to keep them separate, I don't know if the dog would be very cooperative with getting the condomn on and keeping it on.

The only thing that made me wonder is... well you know how fanatical some pet owners can be... maybe someone wants their pet to have fun, but not cause any unwanted pregnancies. :crazy:
