4. I understand SI's 50th (?) annivesary is coming up soon...
...and the cover's going to be a collage of previous covers. In short, SI is going to be on the SI cover. I hope everyone is dumping their Time Warner (SI's parent company) stock right now!

;-)

5. Freaky
When I saw the issue, I said to myself: "The Chiefs are going to lose."
That's one powerful curse!

7. How about this issue?
The Broncos were 4-0 before this photo, then they went on to lose 4 out of their next 5.

9. Thank you Sports Illustrated!
And Jon Kitna, and Peter Warrick, and Rudi Johnson, and Chad Johnson....

I'll always be a Cowboys fan first, but it's a lot more fun in Cincinnati when the Bengals are winning. It's been a long 13 years.

Whodey!

I think that is the first time I read or heard someone say thank you Jon Kitna unless it was a fan of the opposing team.

12. They were a bit suspect, in any case.
They should have lost the Denver game, but for shitty officiating, and there were some other close calls.
