Do your dogs love to go bye-bye?
I have had three dogs in my adulthood who would give their right paw to take a ride in the car. My last dog, Buffett, would sleep behind the back tire of the car in the yard I guess so he would be awakened if someone was going somewhere.

My new pup will not get out of the car once we get home. He loves the car. Is this just us or do dogs just love the adventure of the open road?

1. Our dog hears the word "go",
coupled with the car keys in my hand, and he is at the door ready to take a ride.

He does nothing but lay in the back seat or look out the window, but he just loves to ride.

2. That's what we call it, too, "going bye bye". One, our oldest male,
LOVES it, even if it's just riding down the street to the post office, he's always up for an adventure.

Our oldest girl feels that nothing good ever comes from riding in the car, just vet visits and groomer baths, so she can take it or leave it.

3. When my doggies see me getting dressed on the weekends,
they know that they will be going with me in the car and they run around the house like little kids in anticipation because they know they will be going for a ride.

4. flea knows the words 'go' and 'car' better than 'food'.
she loves the car...and protects it fiercely when she's in it.

5. We have a minivan
because we don't get to go many places without the dogs...2 over 100 lbs each, 1 60 lbs, 1 30 lbs.

6. MIne are the same
with my canoe, as well as the car...I think they just want to be with us...so many times we get in the car (for work, whatever) and leave them behind...
