What's the normal duration that you've had a cold???

I've had this damn thing for four days now, but it seemed to level off. This was HORRIBLE timimg for me to catch one, because I've had to do a butt-load of homework to up my grades to B's and C's. I still need to get more done, but I've decided to take it easy and rest for the rest of the night and watch Adult Swim. I'm a pretty healthy guy, and I originally thought it would be gone by Sunday night. it hasn't slowed me down as much as it's pissed me off.

So for you healthy folks, how lin does a cold last for you???

1. 3 to 5 days

Drink a lot of hot fluids and take hot steamy showers. Spicy hot food, especially Thai soups are good too.

2. There's a bad one floating around.. Just when you think you

are getting better...WHAM! you are down again. I still have the cough from one that started in September. Get lots of rest and hope you are better soon!

4. Five days on average...

although I find summer colds tend to linger longer for some reason.

5. The last three colds I got lasted less than four days...

...thanx to Zicam. but this one is lingering around like an unwanted relative.

...although with cold medicine, it lasts only 7 days.
