CA DU Meetup at Hermosa Beach Friday night

My apoologies to whoever it was that was there between 6:00 and 6:30 looking for the party. I meant to be in Hermosa Beach by 5:00 and at Hennessey's by 6:00 but missed my exit and went several miles North before I realized it and turned around. The traffic was so bad in the other direction I could have crawled back on my hands and knees faster. :eyes: So, I didn't get to the party myself until about 7:30.

I just got back to San Diego earlier today and found out you were there and that the manager called my folks place asking if there had been a change in plans or time. Again, my apologies to whoever you were.

There was a smaller group of us of about a half dozen of us that did meet and we had a good time and relaxing chat out on the patio. Some faces from the Hollywood meetup the Friday before and a couple new faces.

My special thanks to the Emilleried's for their invitation and hospitality for the extra day and night with them up in the beautiful San Fernando valley area with them and their family. :hi:

I have pics from Friday night I'll post later and also some pics the Emilleried's took from the Hermosa Beach party and the Hollywood party the week before. I'm too pooped to upload everything and post them tonight, but I will eventually. I have a busy week planned in my time left here so I may wait till I get back to Iowa and post all the pics at once when I get back home.

It's been a lot of fun and the break to meet DUers has been a real treat for me. Did I mention I am pooped?
