10. In general, I suspect most stupid people (i.e. most Americans) are

happier than more intelligent people; you know the saying - ignorance is bliss.

However, when reality manages to penetrate their cocoon of stupidity, their feeble minds can instantly unravel. I've seen it happen many times in public education. I'll bring up an unpleasant topic regarding corrupt school officials or treasonous teachers unions, and a teacher will suddenly freeze, as if stunned. Eventually, the blank look on her face will gave way to an expression of fear and anger, and she'll start ranting...

Penetrate your neighbor's stupidity at your own risk.
