W is the result of the movement to dumb down America. We've accepted it's ok to be a stupid and arrogant, so long as you have money.

10. In general, I suspect most stupid people (i.e. most Americans) are |
|
happier than more intelligent people; you know the saying - ignorance is bliss.
However, when reality manages to penetrate their cocoon of stupidity, their feeble minds can instantly unravel. I've seen it happen many times in public education. I'll bring up an unpleasant topic regarding corrupt school officials or treasonous teachers unions, and a teacher will suddenly freeze, as if stunned. Eventually, the blank look on her face will gave way to an expression of fear and anger, and she'll start ranting...
Penetrate your neighbor's stupidity at your own risk.

The Naturally Obtuse, as well as the Intentionally Obtuse, can easily switch to "Kill the Messenger" once unravelled.

there are different ways in which one can be stupid, i'm positive i'd qualify for some.
my cynical but always hopeful nature would get me labeled at the very least naive, but some would so far as to me stupid.
