I heard something very unusual about Wolverines on the animal channel
Wolverines are cousin's to Otters in the animal kingdom and how otters are to water wolverines are to snow. Anyway in the northern towns in Canada when it's snowing all the time the residents are worried about how to keep Wolverines out of their backyards. They came up with this strange yet pratical solution to their worries of the Wolverines. The residents put up football goalpost and it scares the wolverines away because they can't get near them. This strategy has worked for years and the residents of the northern Canadian towns seem to enjoy and don't plan on changing it any time soon.

8. Funny.....you had me going until the last sentence!
Another Football joke:

A Man was at a Georgia-Florida football game sitting behind a woman
with a little toy-poodle.
Every time the Florida team would get the ball the little dog would hop up and down.
The Florida team finally got into Georgia territory and the little dog
started barking like crazy and running around in circles.

Finally, the Florida team scored a field goal and the dog did cartwheels
in the air, back-flips and all the while, howling like a crazed wolf.

The Man was really getting curious and asked the woman:
Geez, Lady...your dog is really something..., I've been watching him go
crazy over the Florida team...My God, What does he do when Florida
scores a touchdown?

The Lady says: Well, I don't know, He's only 5 years old.

Nice. A new twist on a classic. I've never heard the Discover Channel lead-in to that one before. It's a nice touch.

11. LMAO! Took a sec for the neurons to click into football for me too.
Otters can be mean little sh*ts despite their cute "poster animal" status.
Anyone who tries to "pet" a wild animal deserves what they get, though.
