OMG, I'm so glad to be back. Kiss, Kiss, Hug, Hug, everybody. |

My ISP went down. It's a once in a blue moon thing, but it happened tonight. I felt so disconnected from the whole world, especially DU. I got sad and then paranoid. I thought, oh no, the secret service has cut me off from the internet because I said something chimpy didn't like. I haven't been able to get online for hours now. I'm so happy to be back.

2. It does me too. I start |
|
looking over my shoulder, calling the connection number and listening to the computer noises to see if they sound right, going into the settings on my computer, virus/spyware scanning, jumping at the slightest sounds or movements, looking out the door for the NSA or the secret service, and biting my nails. I live out in red state territory. I'd hate to only have this bunch in my real life to talk to. I remember how bad life was with them. I am officially addicted to DU.

3. have U ever done this? |

You log onto DU and see a locked thread. You click on it to see what all the fuss is about. Just as you start to read it, you power winks out. Then I think - wow, those mods are powerful. When they lock a thread, they mean business.
