I think I'm addicted to the internet...
I'm on this damn thing all day, wake up..internet...go to work...come home...internet...

Ever sine we got cable it has been a curse. When I'm on the internet, I'm trying to find something to do, feeling like I'm wasting time. When I get off the computer looks at me longingly from behind my back (swear to god!).

Ok, I'm joking around (mostly) but really it is habit-forming. Anyone else trying to kick the internet addiction?

1. it is habit forming
and sometimes it is a substitute for human contact. It's a blessing and a curse, too. I've had internet access for nine years and have spent an incredible amount of time learning and being an activist, too.

2. yep, cable's the ticket
Why kick the Internet habit? For what?

Now if you're having trouble getting things done in your life, that's one issue. But if not, I see no reason to kick your Internet habit.

5. EXACTLY!!!!!!!
I always need to have information flowing. If for some reason the Internet goes down, I really start feeling withdrawal symptoms after a few minutes.

6. Yes I am addicted too
but thanks to this addiction I have met some incredible people from around the world , whom I may have never met if it was not for the internet .

Meanwhile through the internet I have made it my goal to find every song from the 80's that I loved . And I have learned that the Internet Movie Database has waaaaaaayyyyyy to much information about people .

10. Thank God for the Internet and Al Gore!
Thanks, Al for recognizing the importance of the Internet and to promote and support its development!!! That is where I get the truthful news from!

I also am addicted. I find the internet as a way to be informed, and learn the truth -- not what we hear from FAUX, etc.

What annoys me most, however, are all the jokes that keep coming to my e-mail. I have told friends to quit sending them, but still get them.

One of my favorite sites is google.com! Fast way of getting info on any subject!

12. maybe that's it...
I don't trust the news from anywhere else, unless I read it 20 different sources on the internet. Reading the new has become sort of a chore. Well, at least I'm not spoon-fed my news, and told what to think.
