In Fairfax, VA, you can get arrested for being drunk.....in a bar!

Unsurprisingly, a firestorm of controversy erupted in the conservative press in the aftermath of the raids. What is surprising is that the Fairfax PD refused to apologize for their stormtrooper tactics. The chief considered the raids a great success, and bragged they would do it again, and soon.

1. Fairfax police arrested people for dancing on Sunday

at a Holiday Inn at Tysons Corner. There may still be a no dancing law on Sunday on the books in Virginia. Fairfax has never been known for a quality police work.
The dancing thing happened late 70's or early 80's. I lived in Fairfax County at the time.

So I am not surprised.
