The official DU------ FORDHAM vs. TOWSON game week thread #1

Now I want you guys to keep it clean and sportsmanlike on this thread. I know that this game really stirs the emotions of many but try to be respectful.

Just to get the converstion started I'll highights some things that we all already know:

The Fordham Rams are looking strong again this year. At 8-3 they looked poised the win outright the Patriot League title they split with Towson last year. Last week's loss to Colgate could really fire them up and Kirwin Watson is really running the ball well since being named Patriot League offensive player of the week at the beginning of the month.

Now the Towson Tigers aren't as sharp as they were last year for sure but the are still above .500 with their 6-5 record and they just beat a good Albany team (7-3 coming in) last week. That win made it 5 straight home wins on Minnegan Field at Johnny Unitas stadium.

Now remember to keep this discussion in context, it's JUST A GAME!!!!

7. I concur with your assessment

On Friday, my Retrievers of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County are going to tear ass into Towson University and kick their asses left, right, and center in basketball, on the way to our fourth straight BATTLE OF BALTIMORE title.

Though, I guess that doesn't have much to do with football or whatever.

But college basketball > college football anyway. :)
