The New York Post just surprised me
Edited on Mon Nov-17-03 02:40 PM by NightTrain
While standing in the check-out line of 7-Eleven, I happened to see a story on the front page of today's edition of that journalistic abortion, the New York Post. The headline read, "Gay-bashing ex-teacher finally fired."

I only caught the first couple of sentences, but the gist of the piece was that a Bronx high school teacher who had been suspended for openly dscriminating against his gay and lesbian students has "finally" been fired. From which I inferred that the Post approved of the school board's action to let the teacher go.

Considering how goddamned right-wing the New York Post tends to be, their anti-homophobic stance surprised the hell out of me!

1. Even a broken clock is right twice a day
Quite frankly, I saw the headline and thought the same thing.
